RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF TIM ATKINS ON
BEHALF OF ROLLING THUNDER, INC. CHAPTER #1 TO
USE VETERAN' S MEMORIAL HALL FACILITIES ON
SEPTEMBER 15, 2000 Al 7 : 00 P.M. FOR A BALLOON
LAUNCHING CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH
NATIONAL PRISONER OF WAR-MISSING IN ACTION
RECOGNITION.
WHEREAS, Tim Atkins on behalf of Rolling Thunder, Inc.
Chapter #1 has requested to use Veterans Memorial Hall facilities
on September 15, 2000 at 7 : 00 p.m. for a balloon launching
ceremony in conjunction with Nation Prisoner of War-Missing in
Action Recognition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Tim Atkins on behalf
of Rolling Thunder, Inc. Chapter #1 to use Veterans Memorial Hall
facilities on September 15, 2000 at 7 : 00
launching ceremony in conjunction with Nation mPrisoner oflloon War-
Missing in Action Recognition, be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of September, 2000.
