RESOLUTION NO. 2000-529
RESOLUTION APPROVING COST-SHARE AGREEMENT WITH
U. S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS (USACE) AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Cost-Share Agreement dated September 25, 2000 for Planning
Assistance to States (PAS) funds in the amount of $200, 000. 00, with
a 50 percent city match, to develop a detailed plan for the former
Rath Industrial Area adjacent to and east of the Cedar River,
immediately south of the downtown business district, by and between
U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) , and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized
to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of September, 2000.
