RESOLUTION NO. 2000-557
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF KWIK
STAR TO REZONE FROM "R-4" MULTIPLE RESIDENCE
DISTRICT TO "C-1" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF
WASHINGTON AND WEST 9TH STREETS, AS NOVEMBER
13, 2000, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS
IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 13th day of November, 2000, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon an application of Kwik Star
to rezone from "R-4" Multiple Residence District to "C-1"
Commercial District property generally located at the intersection
of Washington and West 9th Street to add thirteen additional parking
stalls for existing store, and legally described as follows:
The Northeasterly 37 .5 feet of Lots 9 and 10; and the
Northeasterly 37 . 5 feet of the Southeasterly of Lot 8
in Block 7, Don' s Addition to the Village of Waterloo,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
