RESOLUTION NO. 2000-559
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF THE 16' X 30'
SECTION OF ALLEY GENERALLY LOCATED BEHIND
MIRACLE CAR WASH, 2727 UNIVERSITY AVENUE, TO
MIRACLE WATERLOO, INC. , AS NOVEMBER 13, 2000,
2000, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 13th day of November, 2000, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell and
convey the 16' x 30' section of alley generally located behind
Miracle Car Wash, 2727 University Avenue, to Miracle Waterloo,
Inc. , and legally described as follows :
That part of the Thirty (30) foot alley as platted in
Kearns Addition to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described
as the Southeasterly Sixteen (16) feet of said alley
lying Northwesterly of the Southwesterly extension of
the Southeast line of Lot Forty-three (43) in said
Addition, subject to the city' s retention of a permanent
easement over, under and above the above described
property, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
for $1 . 00, plus costs .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of October, 2000 .
