RESOLUTION NO. 2000-573
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
ALLOCATION OF THE F.Y. 2000 LOCAL LAW
ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT (LLEBG) AS OCTOBER 23,
2000, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY
HALL AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. , on the 23rd day of October, 2000, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon the recommendation from
Advisory Committee for allocation of grant in the amount of
$116, 676. 00 from the U. S. Department of Justice for F.Y. 2000 Local
Law Enforcement Block Grant (LLEBG) , with a required local match of
$12, 997 . 00.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of October, 2000.
