RESOLUTION NO. 2000-613
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO HUFF
CONTRACTING, INC. , OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR
MEMORIAL HALL A.D.A. IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $107, 955. 00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Huff Contracting, Inc. , of Waterloo, Iowa, in
the amount of $107, 955. 00, for the construction of the Memorial
Hall A.D.A. Improvements Project, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project,
after public hearing on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said
work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of November, 2000 .
