RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF MAIN
STREET WATERLOO FOR FREE GUEST PARKING IN
THE PARK AVENUE RAMP, USE OF LINCOLN PARK
FOR FIREWORKS DISPLAY AND BAGGING OF
PARKING METERS ON MULBERRY AND EAST
FOURTH STREETS IN CONJUNCTION WITH
CELEBRATE 2001 EVENT TO BE HELD AT THE
MASONIC TEMPLE ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31,
2000 FROM 7 : 00 P.M. TO 1 : 00 A.M. , IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY,
IOWA.
WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo is planning a Celebrate
2001 event on December 31, 2000 from 7 : 00 p.m. to 1 : 00 a.m. ,
and
WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo is requesting free guest
parking in the Park Avenue ramp, use of Lincoln Park for
fireworks display, and bagging of parking meters on Mulberry
and East Fourth Streets next to Lincoln Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street
Waterloo to have free guest parking in the Park Avenue ramp,
use of Lincoln Park for fireworks display, and bagging of
parking meters on Mulberry and East Fourth Streets next to
Lincoln Park in conjunction with the Celebrate 2001 event to
be held at the Masonic Temple on, December 31, 2000 from 7 : 00
p.m. to 1 : 00 a.m. , be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of December, 2000 .
