RESOLUTION NO. 1999-667
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE
NO. 2479, ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED,
SECTION 2A-56, VIOLATION AND PENALTIES, AS
JANUARY 16, 2001, AT 5: 30 P.M. AT CITY HALL
COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND INSTRUCTING THE CLERK TO
PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 16th day of January, 2001, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon amendments to Ordinance
No. 2479, Zoning Ordinance, as amended, Section 2A-56, Violation
and Penalties, upon the recommendation of approval of the City
Planning, Programming and Zoning Commission and the City Council ' s
own motion, as it pertains to changing violation of Zoning
Ordinance from a simple misdemeanor to a municipal infraction and
increasing the $100 . 00 per day fine to a cumulative fine of
$200 . 00, $500 . 00 and $750 . 00, a copy of which is on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the
time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of December, 2000.
