RESOLUTION NO. 1999-2
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE
AND CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 235
BALTIMORE STREET, TO JIMMIE JONES, AS JANUARY
25, 1999, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 25t'' day of January, 1999, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and
convey property located at 235 Baltimore Street, to Jimmie Jones,
and legally described as follows :
The Northwesterly 40 feet of Lot No. 17 in Block No. 4
in Whitney and Sedgwick' s Addition, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $7, 000 . 00, plus costs .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of January, 1999 .
