RESOLUTION NO. 1999-27
RESOLUTION APPROVING an AGREEMENT WITH
CHICAGO CENTRAL AND PACIFIC RAILROAD AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the City Council of the City of Waterloo in the State of
Iowa, is hereby authorized to execute an Agreement dated the 19th
day of January, 1999 with the Chicago Central and Pacific Railroad
Company, copy attached, covering "West Donald Street Grade
Crossing Improvements at the Chicago Central and Pacific
Railroad' s Milepost W-277 . 98, DOT No. 307 174Y, at/near Waterloo,
Iowa" on behalf of said City by affixing his signature to each of
two (2) original counterparts of said Agreement, the same to be
attested by the City Clerk; and it is herein and hereby certified
and affirmed that funds have been appropriated and are available
for the payment by the City of any amounts agreed to be paid by it
under the terms of said Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, a certified copy of this resolution
be transmitted to the Chicago Central and Pacific Railroad
Company.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19" day of January, 1999.

I, Nancy Eckert, City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, in the State
of Iowa, do hereby certify the foregoing to be a true and correct
copy of a resolution adopted by the City Council of said City of
Waterloo, at a meeting on January 19, 1999; that said resolution
is still in effect; that the Agreement referred to therein,
attached thereto, is in the form presented to said meeting and in
the form executed.
Witness the seal of said City of Waterloo and my signature
this 21st day of January, 1999.
