RESOLUTION NO. 1999-57
RESOLUTION APPROVING STANDARD COOPERATIVE
AGREEMENT WITH CHICAGO CENTRAL AND PACIFIC
RAILROAD COMPANY AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF
SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Waterloo in the State
of Iowa are hereby authorized to execute an Agreement dated
February 2, 1999, with the Chicago Central and Pacific Railroad
Company, copy attached, covering North Evans Road Grade Crossing
Improvements at Chicago Central and Pacific Railroad' s Milepost W-
273 . 02, DOT #307-110M, at/near Waterloo, Iowa on behalf of the
City of Waterloo by affixing their signature to each of two (2)
original counterparts of said Agreement, the same to be attested
by the City Clerk; an it is herein and hereby certified and
affirmed that funds have been appropriated and are available for
the payment by the City of Waterloo of any amounts agreed to be
paid by it under the terms of said Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, a certified copy of this resolution be transmitted
to the Chicago Central and Pacific Railroad Company.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of February, 1999.

CERTIFICATE
I, Nancy Eckert, City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, in the State
of Iowa, do hereby certify the foregoing to be a true and correct
copy of a resolution adopted by the said City of Waterloo, at a
meeting on February 8, 1999; that said resolution is still in
effect; that the Agreement referred to therein, attached thereto,
is in the form presented to said meeting and in form executed.
