cl) coWHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
` Waterloo, Iowa, approve a "S-1" Shopping Center Commercial

Crossroads Cinema, and legally described as follows :

Commencing at the intersection of the Southwesterly
right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 218 with the East
line of said Section 2-88-13 , said right-of-way line
60 . 00 feet normally distant Southwesterly from the
center line of U. S . Highway 218 ; thence N. 35°20 ' W.
along said Southwesterly right-of-way line a distance
of 494 .43 feet; thence S . 54°40' W. a distance of 425 . 00

Section 2-88-13 at a point of 799 . 77 feet North of the
Southeast corner of the N % of the SE 1/ of said Section
2-88-13, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 1, 1999, at 7 : 00
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.

°0 c7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the "S-1" Shopping Center Commercial
District site plan amendment for the expansion of the existing
Crossroads Cinema, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of March, 1999, and approved
by the Mayor this 3rd day of March, 19 . \l
