REZONE FROM "A-1" AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO

CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 22nd day of March, 1999, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Lockard Realty on behalf of Hurst Holding company to rezone from
"A-1" Agricultural District to "R-4" Multiple Residence District
property generally located west of the Tower Park Office Complex
and north of Highway 20 for the development of an office facility
legally described as follows:
A part of the NW of the NE k and the SW k of the NE 'Kg
of Section 9-88-13, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows :
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the NW of the
NE k of said Section 9; thence S 00°26' 14" E along the
East line of the NW of the NE - of said Section 9 a
distance of 890 . 51 feet to the point of beginning;
thence S 00°26' 14" E along the East line of the NW '- of
the NE k and the SW of the NE 1,1 of said Section 9 a
distance of 470 . 00 feet to the Northerly R-O-W line of
U. S . Highway 20; thence N 89°37' 22" W along said R-O-W
line a distance of 780 . 00 feet; thence N 00°26' 14" W a
distance of 470 . 00 feet; thence S 89°37' 22" E a distance
of 780 . 00 feet to the point of beginning.
The East line of the NW rTI of the NE of said Section
9-88-13 is assumed to bear S 00°26' 14" E, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa .
Said parcel contains 366, 562 . 96 SF or 8 . 41 Acres .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
