RESOLUTION NO. 1999-165
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE "R-4,R-P" MULTIPLE
FAMILY PLANNED RESIDENCE DISTRICT SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE TOWER PARK
CONDOMINIUMS FROM THREE (3) STORIES TALL TO
SIX (6) STORIES TALL AND TO REDUCE THE NUMBER
OF ACCESS TO MAXHELEN BOULEVARD FORM FOUR (4)
TO ONE (1) .
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a "R-4,R-P" Multiple Family Planned
Residence District site plan amendment to change the Tower Park
Condominiums from three (3) stories tall to six (6) stories tall
and to reduce the number of access to Maxhelen Boulevard from four
(4) to one (1) , and legally described as follows :
Lot 8, Guernsey Park Second Addition, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 5, 1999, at 7 : 00
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the "R-4,R-P" Multiple Family Planned
Residence District site plan amendment to change the Tower Park
Condominiums from three (3) stories tall to six (6) stories tall
and to reduce the number of access to Maxhelen Boulevard from four
(4) to one (1) , be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day •. April, 1999, and approved
by the Mayor this 7th day of April, �9•
