RESOLUTION NO. 1999-237
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION OF THE SEVENTEEN (17) FOOT EASEMENT
GENERALLY LOCATED ALONG HUNTINGTON ROAD AS
•
MAY 10, 1999, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN CITY HALL
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 10th day of May, 1999, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate the seventeen
(17) foot easement generally located along Huntington Road to
construct a detached garage, legally described as follows :
That part of the 17 foot wide strip of vacated
Huntington Road that lies Easterly of the Southerly
extension of Lot 166 Central Heights II Addition, and
Westerly of the Southerly extension of the Easterly
line of Lot 167 said addition, with the City' s
retention of a perpetual easement lying 5 feet Easterly
of and parallel to the Westerly line of the above
described parcel, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of Aril, 1999 .
