RESOLUTION NO. 1999-240
RESOLUTION APPROVING LETTER OF AGREEMENT WITH
THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID LETTER OF
AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Letter of Agreement dated April l9t'', 1999 to extend
Tobacco Surveillance Contract through August 30, 1999 to perform
unannounced investigations in retail establishments that sell
tobacco to determine compliance with FDA Regulations regarding
sale of tobacco to minors, by and between the Iowa Department of
Public Health, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19t'' day of April, 1999 .
