RESOLUTION NO. 1999-252
RESOLUTION ANNEXING REAL ESTATE TO THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the following property owners have made application
to have the hereafter described real estate annexed to the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the following described real estate, all of
which is located in the County of Black Hawk, State of Iowa, be
and the same is hereby added to and annexed and made a part of the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa:
Arra E. Flinn, Audrie B. King and Wreatha G. Herman
A parcel of land located in the Northwest % of the
Southeast % of Section 21, Township 89 North, Range 12
West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, more particularly described as follows :
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southeast 14*
of said Section 21; thence South 89°49 ' 47" West on the
North Line of the Southeast 1/ of said Section 21 a
distance of 1, 319 .42 feet to the Northeast corner of
the Northwest % of the Southeast % of said Section 21;
thence South 00°52 ' 59" East on the East line of the
Northwest 1/ of the Southeast % of said Section 21 a
distance of 250 . 31 feet; to the point of beginning of
the parcel herein described; thence continuing South
00°52 ' 59" East on the East line of the Northwest % of
the Southeast 1/ of said Section 21 a distance of 289 . 83
feet; thence North 73°43 ' 21" West a distance of 669 . 38
feet; thence North 81°47 ' 36" West a distance of 688 . 38
feet to the West line of the Southeast % of said
Section 21; thence North 89°49 ' 47" East a distance of
1, 319 .42 feet to the point of beginning containing 3 . 65
acres .
Basis of bearings : the North line of the Southeast 1/ of
said Section 21 is assumed to bear South 89°49 ' 47" West
for the purpose of this description, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this
Resolution in the Office of the Recorder of Black Hawk County,
Iowa, and take other action as is necessary.
