RESOLUTION NO. 1999-257
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
BITUMINOUS MATERIALS OF DES MOINES, IOWA FOR
THE F.Y. 1999 OILING/SEALING PROGRAM IN THE
AMOUNT OF $169, 200 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Bituminous Materials of Des Moines, Iowa, in
the amount of $169, 200 . 00, for the F.Y. 1999 Oiling/Sealing
Program, described in the specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project, be and is hereby accepted, the same
being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of April, 1999 .
