RESOLUTION NO. 1999-258
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
PROPOSAL TO SUSPEND THE PAWNBROKERS LICENSE
FOR WATERLOO JEWELRY AND LOAN COMPANY, 330 •
EAST 4TH STREET, AS MAY 3, 1999, AT 5: 30 P.M.
IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND INSTRUCTING CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 3rd day of May, 1999, on the
proposal to suspend the Pawnbrokers License for Waterloo Jewelry
and Loan Company, 330 East 4th Street, pursuant to Section 23-
27 (b) , Holding Period, of Division 2, Pawnbrokers, of Article II,
Specific Businesses and Occupations, of Chapter 23, Licenses and
Business Regulations, of the Waterloo Code of Ordinances .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
