RESOLUTION NO. 1999-282
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE "S-1" SHOPPING
CENTER COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON
THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF FLAMMANG DRIVE AND
CROSSROADS BOULEVARD FOR DEVELOPMENT OF A
HOMETOWN BUFFET RESTAURANT.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a "S-1" Shopping Center Commercial
District site plan amendment for property generally located on the
northwest corner of Flammang Drive and Crossroads Boulevard for
development of a Hometown Buffet restaurant, and legally described
as follows :
Lot 3, Crossroads Plat No. 2, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa .
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 3, 1999, at 7 : 00
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the "S-1" Shopping Center Commercial
District site plan amendment for property generally located on the
northwest corner of Flammang Drive and Crossroads Boulevard for
development of a Hometown Buffet restaurant, be and the same is
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 1999, and approved by
the Mayor Pro Tem this 5 day of May, 1999.
