RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE
AND CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF HARTMAN AVENUE AND
FLETCHER AVENUE TO DARREL NEWHOFF FOR
$1, 000 . 00, PLUS COST, AS MAY 17, 1999, AT
7 : 00 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS,
WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 17th day of May, 1999, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey property
generally located at the northwest corner of Hartman Avenue and
Fletcher Avenue to Darrel Newhoff to construct a detached garage
or addition to his home, and legally described as follows :
That part of Lots Twenty-four (24) and Twenty-five
(25) , all in Block Two (2) , "Hagerman Place", Waterloo,
Iowa, lying West of the following described line :
Beginning at a point on the Northeasterly line of said
Lot Twenty-four (24) which is Fifteen and Thirty-eight
Hundredths (15 . 38) feet Southeasterly of the Northwest
corner of said Lot Twenty-four (24) ; thence Southerly
to a point on the Southwesterly line of said Lot
Twenty-five (25) which is Sixty and Forty-one
Hundredths (60 . 41) feet Southeasterly of the Southwest
corner of said Lot Twenty-four (24) , all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $1, 000. 00, plus costs .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 1999.
