RESOLUTION NO. 1999-305
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION OF THE PLATTED UTILITY EASEMENTS
GENERALLY LOCATED BETWEEN LOTS 1, 2 AND 3 IN
STURDY ADDITION AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF
MELISSA LANE AND THE SAN MARNAN DRIVE ACCESS
ROAD AS MAY 24, 1999, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN CITY
HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 24th day of May, 1999, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate the platted
utility easements generally located between Lots 1, 2 and 3 in
Sturdy Addition at the northeast corner of Melissa Lane and the
San Marnan Drive access road for development of a medical eye
facility, legally described as follows :
The 5 foot Utility easement platted in Sturdy Addition
that lies North of and adjacent to the South line of
Lot 3 said addition, except that part lying 8 feet West
of and parallel to the East line of said lot, all in •
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
The 8 foot Utility easement platted in Sturdy Addition
that lies South of and adjacent to the North line of
Lot 2 said addition, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
The 8 foot Utility easement platted in Sturdy Addition
that lies South of and adjacent to the North line of
Lot 1 said addition, except that part lying 8 feet West
of and parallel to the East line of said lot, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of May, 1999.
