RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE PROPOSED
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH INTERSTATE BRANDS TO
SELL AND CONVEY FOR $1 . 00, PLUS COSTS, PROPERTY
LOCATED IN LOT NO. 5 IN NORTHEAST INDUSTRIAL
PARK PLAT NO. 1 TO BUILD A 13, 000 SQUARE FOOT
BUILDING, AS MAY 24, 1999, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN CITY
HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 24th day of May, 1999, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposed development agreement with
Interstate Brands to sell and convey for $1 . 00, plus costs,
property located in Lot No. 5 in Northeast Industrial Park Plat
No. 1 to build a 13, 000 square foot building, with minimum
assessment of $700, 000 . 00 until December 31, 2010, together with
industrial tax rebates for five years, and legally described as
follows :
Lot 5, Northeast Industrial Park Plat No. 1, all
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of May, 1999 .
