RESOLUTION NO. 1999-386
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO MIKE
DOLAN CONCRETE & MASONRY, INC. OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, FOR THE F.Y. 1999 WASHINGTON STREET
PARKING LOT ISLAND PAVING, CONTRACT NO. 607,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $72, 874 . 30 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Mike Dolan Concrete & Masonry, Inc . of
Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $72 , 874 . 30, for the construction
of the F.Y. 1999 Washington Street Parking Lot Island Paving,
Contract No. 607, described in the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project, after public
hearing on published notice required by law, be and is hereby
accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk are hereby directed to
execute contract with the said contractor for the construction of
said improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City
until approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of June, 1999 .
