RESOLUTION NO. 1999-395
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION OF 260 FEET OF SIDEWALK RIGHT-OF-WAY
GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE 400 BLOCK OF
CHESTNUT STREET AS JUNE 28, 1999, AT 7 : 00
P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO,
IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 28th day of June, 1999, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate 260 feet of
sidewalk right-of-way generally located in the 400 block of
Chestnut Street, and legally described as follows :
The sidewalk on the North side of Chestnut Street
between the East line of the West 30 feet of Lot 6
Block 8 of Railroad Addition extended south through
said right-of-way, and West of the East line of Lot 1
Block 8 said addition extended south through said
right-of-way, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of June, 1999 .
