RESOLUTION NO. 1999-424
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ABATEMENT OF SPECIAL •
ASSESSMENTS FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON
LINN STREET IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the African American Historical & Cultural Museum
acquired property located on Linn Street, and legally described as
follows :
North Addition South 46 feet Lot 1 Block 7, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, the following special assessments have been
certified to said property generally located on Linn Street :

$ 85 . 00 - Weeds
$ 85 . 00 - Weeds

WHEREAS, the African American Historical & Cultural Museum
acquired property generally located on Linn Street, and legally
described as follows :

feet, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
WHEREAS, the following special assessments have been
certified to said property generally located on Linn Street :

and,
WHEREAS, the African American Historical & Cultural Museum
acquired property generally located on Linn Street, and legally
described as follows :
North Addition North 35 feet South 70 feet Lot 5 Block
7, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
WHEREAS, the following special assessments have been
certified to said property generally located on Linn Street :

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
wishes to abate all special assessments for Parcel No.
891324133006, Parcel No. 891324133016 and Parcel No. 891324133017,
as certified to the Black Hawk County Treasurer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk be and the same hereby
instructed to notify the Black Hawk County Treasurer that said
described special assessments for property as legally described
above, be and the same abated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of June, 1999 .
