RESOLUTION NO. 1999-477
RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH THE
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the agreement dated July 19, 1999 for a grant in the amount
of $750, 000 . 00 to be used for demolition of the Rath Vertical Kill
and Alstadt Langlas Bakery Company, with city to construct storm
sewer outlet from Sycamore Street to Cedar River and reconstruct
Sycamore Street from Vinton Street east to the railroad tracks, by
and between the Economic Development Administration, and the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the
Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of July, 1999.
