RESOLUTION NO. 1999-489
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF THE 27"
PORTION OF ALLEY ABUTTING PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED AT 340 COLUMBIA CIRCLE TO JON FISTER
AS AUGUST 9, 1999, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN CITY HALL
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 9th day of August, 1999, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell and
convey the 27" portion of alley abutting property generally
located at 340 Columbia Circle to Jon Fister, and legally
described as follows :
That part of the 15 foot alley adjacent to the
Southwest Side of Lots 92 and 93, Kingbard Hill, in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as
follows :
Commencing at the South Corner of Lot 92, thence
northwesterly along the Southwest side of Lots 92 and
93 to the West corner of Lot 93, thence southwesterly
along the extension of the Northwest side of Lot 93 a
distance of 2 .25 feet, thence southeasterly parallel to
the Southwest side of Lots 92 and 93 a distance of 24 . 5
feet, thence southeasterly to the point of beginning,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $147 . 05, plus costs;
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of July, 1999.
