RESOLUTION NO. 1999-532
RESOLUTION APPROVING SOUTHDALE NEIGHBORHOOD
ASSOCIATION FOR A WAIVER TO PLACE ENTRANCE
BANNERS ON FLAG POLES ON CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY.
WHEREAS, the Southdale Neighborhood Association has requested
permission to place flag poles containing banners on city right-
of-way at the intersection of the southeast corner of Dysart Road
and Larkspur by street sign, the northeast corner of Daisy and
East Orange Road by street sign, and the northeast corner of
Dahlia and East Orange Road by street sign, and
WHEREAS, said Southdale Neighborhood Association has agreed
to maintain said flag poles and to keep something in the base at
all times in order to make them visible to the public .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Southdale Neighborhood Association be
hereby granted a waiver to place entrance banners on flag poles on
city right-of-way located at the southeast corner of Dysart Road
and Larkspur, the northeast corner of Daisy and East Orange Road,
and the northeast corner of Dahlia and E. Orange Road.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of August, 1999 .
