RESOLUTION NO. 1999-533
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF ED
DOLAN TO REZONE FROM "A-1" AGRICULTURAL
DISTRICT TO "R-2" ONE AND TWO FAMILY
RESIDENCE DISTRICT PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
WEST OF 1481 NEWELL STREET, AS AUGUST 23,
1999, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN
CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 23rd day of August, 1999, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of Ed
Dolan to rezone from "A-1" Agricultural District to "R-2" One and
Two Family Residence District property generally located west of
1481 Newel Street, to build a new home in the Consolidated Urban
Revitalization Area, legally described as follows :
That part of the Southwest Fractional Quarter of
Section No. 18, Township No. 89 North, Range No. 12
West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of Newell Street
that is 428 feet West of the Southwest corner of Lot
No. 15 in Country Club Acres, Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa; thence North 00°06' 20" East 280 feet;
thence North 90°00' East 178 feet; thence South
00°06' 20" West 280 feet to the North line of Newell
Street; thence North 90°00' West 178 feet to the point
of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
