RESOLUTION NO. 1999 -543
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
TUCKPOINTING AND PAINTING OF CENTRAL GARAGE
AND LEISURE HEADQUARTERS AND TUCKPOINTING OF
VETERANS MEMORIAL HALL.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor of
said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc . , for the Tuckpointing and Painting of Central
Garage and Leisure Headquarters and Tuckpointing of Veterans
Memorial Hall, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Facilities Maintenance Supervisor did file said
preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc . , for the
Tuckpointing and Painting of Central Garage and Leisure
Headquarters and Tuckpointing of Veterans Memorial Hall, which
were preliminarily approved on July 26, 1999, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on August
16, 1999, and no objections were made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract and bond, etc . , for the Tuckpointing and Painting of
Central Garage and Leisure Headquarters and Tuckpointing of
Veterans Memorial Hall, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the
same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16thday of August, 1999 .
