RESOLUTION NO. 1999-555
RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATIONS FOR
RECREATION GRANT, HISTORIC SITE PRESERVATION
GRANT AND TOURISM DEVELOPMENT GRANT AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATIONS BY
MAYOR PRO TEM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the applications dated August 16, 1999 for a Recreation grant
in the amount of $100, 000 by and between the Iowa Department of
Natural Resources, a Historic Site Preservation grant in the
amount of $100, 000, by and between the State Historical Society of
Iowa, and a Community Attraction and Tourism Development grant in
the amount of $250, 000 by and between the Iowa Department of
Economic Development, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the
same are hereby approved, and the Mayor Pro Tem authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 1999 .
