RESOLUTION NO 1999-562
RESOLUTION APPROVING FYE 6-30-99 SECTION 8
MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (SEMAP)
CERTIFICATION FOR SECTION 8 CERTIFICATE AND
HOUSING VOUCHER PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the SECTION 8 MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (SEMAP)
CERTIFICATION for fiscal year ending 6-30-99 for Section 8
Certificate and Housing Voucher Program, has been presented to
and reviewed by the Waterloo City Council, and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that as of the submission
date, the SECTION 8 MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (SEMAP)
CERTIFICATION indicators are true and accurate for fiscal year
ending 6-30-99, and
WHEREAS, the Waterloo City Council further certifies that,
to their present knowledge, there is no evidence to indicate
seriously deficient performance that casts doubts on the PHA' s
capacity to preserve and protect its public housing developments
and operate them in accordance with federal law and regulations .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the SECTION 8 MANAGEMENT
ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (SEMAP) CERTIFICATION for fiscal year ending
6-30-99 for the Section 8 Certificate and Housing Voucher
Program, as presented to the Waterloo City Council, be approved,
adopted and submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban
Development for review and scoring.
