RESOLUTION NO. 1999-580
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF HERITAGE ART
GALLERIES AND FRAME SHOPPE TO PLACE TEMPORARY
DIRECTIONAL SIGNAGE ON CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY.
WHEREAS, Heritage Art Galleries and Frame Shoppe has
requested permission to place temporary directional signage on
city right-of-way at the southeast corner of Kimball Avenue and
Brookeridge Drive and at Arby' s Restaurant entrance on Kimball
Avenue and to place a temporary banner on Heritage Art Gallery
property between Heritage Art Gallery and Arby' s Restaurant in
conjunction with F.Y. 1998 Street Reconstruction Project, Contract
No. 564 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that Heritage Art Galleries and Frame Shoppe be
hereby authorized to place temporary directional signage on city
right-of-way at the southeast corner of Kimball Avenue and
Brookeridge Drive and at Arby' s Restaurant entrance on Kimball
Avenue and to place temporary banner on Heritage Art Gallery
property between Heritage Art Gallery and Arby' s Restaurant in
conjunction with F.Y. 1998 Street Reconstruction Project, Contract
No. 564 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Heritage Art Galleries and Frame
Shoppe holds the City of Waterloo harmless from any and all
situations that may be created due to the placement of signs on
city right-of-way.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of August, 1999 .
