RESOLUTION NO. 2021-559
RESOLUTION APPROVING CANCELLATION OF
SIDEWALK ASSESSMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
CLERK TO NOTIFY BLACK HAWK COUNTY TREASURER
OF SAID CANCELLATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the assessments for the following properties, in conjunction with the FY20 Sidewalk Repair
Assessment Program — Zone 9, Contract No. 981, are hereby abated:
• 1127 Independence Avenue in the amount $264.06
• 1111 Idaho Street in the amount of $156.48
• 616 Beech Street in the amount of $513.50
• 1015 Steely Street in the amount of $338.83
• 301 Boston Avenue in the amount of $531.76
• 1137 Steely Street in the amount of $244.50
• 612 Beech Street in the amount of $290.52
• 622 Boston Avenue in the amount of $244.50
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the assessments are hereby cancelled, along with any
penalties and interest accumulated against the amounts, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to
notify the Black Hawk County Treasurer of said cancellations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of August 2021.
