RESOLUTION NO. 2021-575
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING DATE
OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 30, 2021 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS OCTOBER 4, 2021, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE PURCHASE OF 2021 GATES PARK AND SOUTH
HILLS GOLF COURSE IRRIGATION CONTROL SYSTEM
UPDATES, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the purchase of 2021 Gates Park and South Hills Golf Course Irrigation Control
System Updates, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the purchase of 2021 Gates Park
and South Hills Golf Course Irrigation Control System Updates, be scheduled for September 30,
2021 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th day of October 2021, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the purchase of 2021 Gates Park and South Hills Golf
Course Irrigation Control System Updates.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of September 2021.
