RESOLUTION NO. 2021-578
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC, SETTING DATE
OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 30, 2021 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS OCTOBER 4, 2021, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE US HIGHWAY 63 SANITARY SEWER
UPGRADES, PHASE I PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1037, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the US Highway 63 Sanitary Sewer Upgrades, Phase I Project, Contract No.
1037, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the US Highway 63 Sanitary Sewer
Upgrades, Phase I Project, Contract No. 1037, be scheduled for September 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th day of October 2021, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the US Highway 63 Sanitary Sewer Upgrades, Phase I
Project, Contract No. 1037.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
