RESOLUTION NO. 2021-590 RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM DONELL RIVERS, II, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE BROTHAZ BARBERSHOP VOTER READY BLOCK PARTY, TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2021 FROM 3:00 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M, ON ALMOND STREET BETWEEN E. 4TH AND IOWA STREETS, INCLUDING LIVE MUSIC. WHEREAS, Donell Rivers, II, is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on September 19, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Brothaz Barbershop Voter Ready Block Party, to be held on Almond Street between E. 4th and Iowa Streets, including live music, and WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Donnell Rivers, II, for a variance to the Noise Ordinance, on September 19, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, in conjunction with the Brothaz Barbershop Voter Ready Block Party, to be held on Almond Street between E. 4th and Iowa Streets, including live music, be granted.
