RESOLUTION NO. 1999- 597
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
RAMPART CORPORATION OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR
F.Y. 1999 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENT-GATEWELL M, CONTRACT NO. 600, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $532 , 270 .25 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Rampart Corporation of Waterloo, Iowa, in the
amount of $532 , 270 . 25, for the construction of the F.Y. 1999
Ansborough Avenue Drainage Improvement-Gatewell M, Contract No.
600, described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted
by this Council for said project, after public hearing on
published notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the
same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of Sep -mber, 1999 .
