RESOLUTION NO. 1999-602
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF MAIN
STREET WATERLOO AND WATERLOO COMMUNITY
SCHOOLS TO HOLD OLYMPIKIDS FUN RUN ON
SEPTEMBER 30, 1999, IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo and the Waterloo
Community Schools are planning a OlympiKids Fun Run to be
held on Thursday, September 30, 1999, from 10 : 00 a.m. to
12 :30 p.m. , with the race route beginning and ending at
Lincoln Park, and
WHEREAS, said Main Street Waterloo and the Waterloo
Community Schools are requesting permission to conduct said
OlympiKids Fun Run on city streets and Lincoln Park on
Thursday, September 30, 1999, from 10 : 00 a.m. to 12 : 30 p.m. ,
with the race route beginning and ending at Lincoln Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street
Waterloo and the Waterloo Community Schools to conduct
OlympiKids Fun Run on September 30, 1999 starting at 10 : 00
a.m. to 12 :30 p.m. , with the race route beginning and ending
at Lincoln Park, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of S-ptember, 1999 .
