RESOLUTION NO. 1999-603
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF FAMILY
Y.W.C.A. FOR A ROUTE REVISION FOR 7 . 5K
RUN/WALK ON OCTOBER 2 , 1999 .
WHEREAS, Family Y.W.C.A. will conduct a 7 . 5K Run/Walk
on October 2 , 1999 from 8 : 00 a.m. to 10 : 00 a.m. , with the
race route to begin and end at the Y.W.C.A. on Park Avenue
and Lafayette Street, and
WHEREAS, said Family Y.W.C.A. is requesting permission
to conduct said 7 . 5 Run/Walk on city streets on October 2,
1999 from 8 : 00 a.m. to 10 : 00 a.m. , with the race route to
begin and end at the Y.W.C.A. on Park Avenue and Lafayette
Street and to close Park Avenue in front of the Farmer' s
Market until participants pass through.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Family
Y.W.C.A. for a route revision for 7 . 5K Run/Walk on October 2,
1999, from 8 : 00 a.m. to 10 : 00 a.m. with the race route to
begin and end at the Y.W.C.A. on Park Avenue and Lafayette
Street and to close Park Avenue in front of Farmer' s Market
until participants pass through, be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of September, 1999 .
