RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF INTERIM
HOLDINGS, LLC TO REZONE FROM "R-2" ONE AND
TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "R-3"
MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF
LAFAYETTE AND COLORADO STREETS COMMONLY KNOWN
AS THE FORMER LAFAYETTE SCHOOL, AS SEPTEMBER
27, 1999, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL
CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 27th day of September, 1999,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Interim Holdings, LLC to rezone from "R-2" One and Two Family
Residence District to "R-3" Multiple Residence District property
generally located at the northwest corner of Lafayette and
Colorado Streets commonly known as the former Lafayette School and
legally described as follows:
Lot 5 through 11 of Block 18 of Linden Place; also that
part of the alley as platted in Block 18 of Linden
Place that lies South of the North Line of Lot 11
extended Westerly, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
