RESOLUTION NO. 1999-608
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF NATIONAL
CATTLE CONGRESS TO SELL ITEMS THAT WERE PART
OF THE GREYHOUND PARK AND HELD IN SECURITY
INTEREST BY THE CITY OF WATERLOO.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the request of National Cattle Congress to sell items that
were part of the Greyhound Park and held in security interest by
the City of Waterloo to raise approximately $15, 000 . 00, with
$10, 000 . 00 to be applied towards existing loan with the city and
to use $5, 000 . 00 to finance noise study in conjunction with the
proposed race track at Greyhound Park, be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of September, 1999 .
