RESOLUTION NO. 1999-636
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO FIX TIRE
COMPANY TO PLACE A SIX FOOT WIDE STRIP OF
ASPHALT IN THE AREA BETWEEN THE EDGE OF
STREET AND PROPERTY LINE ALONG WEST DONALD
STREET ADJACENT TO PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1145
WEST DONALD STREET IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the Associate Engineer has made written application
to the City Council asking that Fix Tire Company be authorized and
permitted to place a six foot wide strip of asphalt in the area
between the edge of the street and property line along West Donald
Street adjacent to property located at 1145 West Donald Street to
prevent undermining and deterioration of the concrete slab due to
surface runoff, and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that permission is hereby granted to Fix Tire
Company to place a six foot wide strip of asphalt in the area
between the edge of the street and property line along West Donald
Street adjacent to property located at 1145 West Donald Street to
prevent undermining and deterioration of the concrete slab due to
surface runoff .
