RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF THE TEN FOOT
PORTION OF CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY ABUTTING
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 2000 TETON
DRIVE TO GAYLEN AND BETTY BROCKA FOR
$1, 100 . 00 PLUS COSTS, AS OCTOBER 11, 1999, AT
7 :00 . P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS,
WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the llth day of October, 1999, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell
and convey the ten foot portion of city right-of-way abutting
property generally located at 2000 Teton Drive to Gaylen and Betty
Brocka, legally described as follows:
The 10 feet of Hoff Road right-of-way as deeded to the
city in the Klingaman Park Addition lying Easterly of
and adjacent to Lot 1 said addition, with the city' s
retention of a permanent easement over, under and above
the above described property, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $1, 100 . 00, plus costs;
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of September, 1999.
