RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2022 AIR SERVICE
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM GRANT AGREEMENT WITH
THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $48,000 OR 80-PERCENT OF AN 80/20
FUNDING ALLOCATION, WITH THE CITY SHARE OF
APPROXIMATELY $12,000, FOR MARKETING AND
ADVERTISING OF THE WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT
AND AMERICAN AIRLINES, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND AIRPORT DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Iowa Department of Transportation FY 2022 Air Service Development Program Grant
Agreement dated September 20, 2021, between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, for marketing and advertising of the Waterloo Regional Airport and
American Airlines Funding, in the amount of $48,000 or 80-Percent of an 80/20 funding
allocation, with the City share of approximately $12,000, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and
Airport Director are authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of September 2021.
