RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST TO PURCHASE FIVE (5)
2021 FORD EXPLORER POLICE AWD, 4-DOOR SUVS FROM
STIVERS FORD OF WAUKEE, IOWA, FROM THE CURRENT OPEN
BID ORIGINALLY AWARDED BY COUNCIL ON APRIL 8, 2019, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $35,088 EACH, FOR A TOTAL OF $175,440, FOR
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the request to utilize a bid, originally awarded by Council on April 8, 2019, to
purchase five (5) 2021 Ford Explorer police 4-door SUVs from Stivers Ford of Waukee, Iowa,
in the amount of $35,088 each, for a total of $175,440, described in the specifications adopted by
this Council for said purchase by Resolution No. 2019-214, after public hearing on April 8, 2019,
is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of September 2021.
