RESOLUTION NO. 1999-690
RESOLUTION APPROVING RELEASE CF REAL ESTATE
MORTGAGE FOR DUPONT-NICHOLS GROUP, INC. , 312-
318 EAST 4TH STREET, FOR PAYMENT OF FACADE
LOANS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE EXTERIOR
BUILDING REHABILITATION AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID RELEASE OF REAL ESTATE
MORTGAGE BY MAYOR.
WHEREAS, Dupont-Nichols, Inc. , 312-318 East 4th Street,
has paid the City of Waterloo the remaining balance of the
facade loans in conjunction with the exterior building
rehabilitation for the following described property:
318 East 4th Street-$12, 000 . 00 Loan
The Southwesterly 44 feet, excepting the
Southeasterly 35 feet thereof, of Lot No. 6, in
Block No. 28 of the Original Plat of East
Waterloo, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa; and
318 East 4th Street-$12, 000 . 00 Loan
The Southwesterly 20 feet of Lot 3, except the
Northeasterly 4 feet of the Northwesterly 100 feet
thereof and the Northeasterly 16 feet of Lot 6 and
the Southeasterly 35 feet of the Southwesterly 44
feet of Lot 6 and the Northeasterly 25 feet of the
Southeasterly 20 feet of Lot 7, all in Block 28 in
the Original Plat on the East side of the Cedar
River, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa; and
312-314 East 4th Street-$16, 000 . 00 Loan
The Southwesterly 44 feet excepting the
Southeasterly 35 feet thereof of Lot No. 6 in
Block No. 28 of the Original Plat East Waterloo,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Release of Real Estate
Mortgage dated October 4, 1999, for payment of Facade Loan in
conjunction with the exterior building rehabilitation, by and
between Dupont-Nichols Group, Inc. , 312 - 318 East 4th
Street, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved and the Mayor authorized to execute the same
in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
