RESOLUTION NO. 1999-695
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO CEDAR
VALLEY CORPORATION OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR THE
DOWNTOWN SNOW REMOVAL CONTRACT FOR THE 1999-
00 WINTER SEASON, IN THE AMOUNT OF $2 , 548 . 55
PER HOUR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Cedar Valley Corporation of Waterloo, Iowa,
in the amount of $2 , 548 . 55 per hour, for the Downtown Snow Removal
Contract for the 1999-00 Winter Season, described in the
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project, after public hearing on published notice required by law,
be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid received
for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of October, 1999 .
