RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON THE APPLICATION OF
MOHAMMAD ISLAMI TO REZONE FROM "A-1"
AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "M-2, P" PLANNED
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED NORTH OF WEST RIDGEWAY AVENUE
APPROXIMATELY ONE-QUARTER MILE WEST OF MARTIN
ROAD, AS NOVEMBER 1, 1999, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN
THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND
INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 1st day of November, 1999, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Mohammad Islami to rezone from "A-1" Agricultural District to "M-
2, P" Planned Industrial District property generally located north
of West Ridgeway Avenue approximately one-quarter mile west of
Martin Road and legally described as follows:
Part of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 32, Township 89, Range 13, described as
following:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Southwest
quarter of the Southeast quarter, thence West 475 feet,
thence North 790 feet, thence East 475 feet, thence
South 790 feet to the Point of Beginning, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
